What counterparties ask
Does Empyrean provide the capital itself?
No. Empyrean arranges and structures; capital is provided by funders, institutions and counterparties. That distinction matters legally, and it matters to how a file is built — the work is to make a transaction one that a funder will actually take.
Is Empyrean regulated or licensed?
Empyrean Holdings Ltd is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. It does not accept deposits, does not lend as principal, and does not carry on any activity for which authorisation would be required in a jurisdiction where it is not authorised.
How is a transaction assessed?
On what it generates and what is contracted to pay for it — not on what it is hoped to be worth. Structure is settled before pricing is discussed, because structure determines pricing.
What happens if a transaction is not financeable?
It is returned early, with the reason. That is the most useful thing that can be done for a transaction that is not going to close.
